About Our Wine
Winemaker – Dave Phinney
In an effort to bring out the best in the grapes we enlisted Dave Phinney of Orin Swift fame. He is well known for big, full bodied wines. Dave has been the winemaker since Cavus’ first vintage in 2004.
Our Vineyard Manager – Jim Barbour
Jim is one of the best viticulturists in the Napa Valley. We are fortunate to have him on the team. His own Cabernet Sauvignon is wonderful and a rare treat.

About Our Vineyard:
- Located on the hillside in the Stag’s Leap district
- The vines are 27 years old.
- Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Franc and Merlot are planted on just under 2 acres facing to the northwest.
